Update a mature backyard garden after a kitchen and deck remodel bumped out into the established landscape.
A new understory of shrubs and herbaceous layers complements the mature trees on site. Four-season interest and low maintenance plants were added to the garden, using lots of evergreen shrubs and groundcovers, herbaceous plantings with staggered bloom times, pollinators and fall color. A bulb layer will be installed in Fall 2016.
