Create new entrance with visual presence, a front yard patio surrounded by drought tolerant plantings, and a connection to the side lawn where the family plays.

This active family with one young boy and a large dog have been living with an unusable front yard and no access to their side lawn for several years. Project details include poured-in-place concrete paver walkways and a new front garden patio framed by a curved wooden screen to block the wind and create some privacy from the street. The stone retaining wall was rebuilt with the addition of bluestone treads to access the side lawn. Back patio updates include a custom privacy fence and 14' long steel planter. New furnishings, firepit and lighting are included throughout the site. Drought tolerant plantings with hot colors will complement the mid century home.
